// Our Advertising Philosophy

Authentic voice beats corporate fluff. Real solutions beat marketing spin.

Mindless Chaos Chronicles (MCC) is an independent publication for readers who value brutal honesty, tech skepticism, and unfiltered analysis. We do accept paid posts and commercial sponsorships, but never at the expense of our audience's trust or intelligence.

1. Creator Editorial Control & Editing

We do accept paid posts, sponsored essays, and brand collaborations. However, every submission must meet MCC editorial standards. To maintain the tone and integrity of this site, the Creator retains full, uncompromised editorial authority.

What this means in practice:

  • The Creator can edit, revise, and adapt the article: We will refine phrasing, cut corporate jargon, remove hype, and ensure the piece reads naturally in the authentic MCC voice.
  • No sterile press releases: If an article reads like a canned brochure, it will be rewritten or rejected. Submissions must provide real insight, actionable perspective, or compelling storytelling.
  • Final approval: Sponsors receive a preview of the edited draft prior to publication. If an agreement cannot be reached on editorial edits, the partnership will not move forward and any deposit will be returned.

2. Total Transparency & Disclosure

We do not publish covert advertisements, undisclosed native promotions, or deceptive cloaked links. In full accordance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations and ethical publishing:

  • Every paid article or collaboration is prominently labeled as Sponsored Content or Paid Collaboration directly at the top of the post.
  • Sponsors are identified transparently so readers always know who backed the piece.
  • Outbound links from sponsored articles follow standard search engine guidelines (rel="sponsored noopener").

3. What We Welcome vs. What Gets Rejected

Our audience consists of pragmatic thinkers, veterans, tech workers, and everyday people who are exhausted by modern digital friction. Sponsorships must offer legitimate value to these readers.

// What We Welcome
  • Privacy-respecting software, independent utilities, and dev tools.
  • Reliable physical hardware, productivity gear, and electronics.
  • Books, long-form journalism, educational resources, and independent publications.
  • Candid founder essays, workplace post-mortems, and consumer problem-solving stories.
  • Ethical businesses solving genuine everyday headaches.
// Strictly Prohibited
  • AI-generated slop, automated keyword-stuffing, or unedited LLM scrapings.
  • Cryptocurrency, memecoins, NFT schemes, or get-rich-quick courses.
  • Online gambling, sportsbooks, casinos, and predatory financial products.
  • Unsubstantiated medical claims, miracle cures, or questionable supplements.
  • Bulk link-building networks, backlink farming, or deceitful redirect schemes.

4. Privacy & Zero Bloat Requirements

Mindless Chaos Chronicles is built with clean, hand-crafted code with zero tracking cookies or invasive third-party scripts. To respect reader devices and privacy:

  • No tracking pixels or scripts: We do not allow third-party tracking beacons, surveillance pixels, or JavaScript embeds in sponsored content.
  • Direct, clean URLs: Outbound links must point directly to the destination landing page without multi-hop redirect chains or fingerprinting parameters.
  • Fast load times: Images and media must adhere to modern compressed web formats (WebP/SVG) to maintain lightning-fast performance.

5. Available Partnership Formats

A. Dedicated Sponsored Chronicle

A standalone essay or deep dive focusing on a relevant theme, problem space, or case study. The sponsor provides the core subject matter or draft, and Creator edits and polishes it to fit MCC’s editorial voice. Published permanently in our archive.

B. In-Chronicle Feature Sponsorship

A prominent sponsor callout and contextual endorsement featured in an upcoming MCC chronicle aligned with your industry or product focus.

C. Bespoke Editorial Commentary

A custom collaboration where Creator investigates an issue, reviews a product firsthand, and writes an honest, unfiltered appraisal. Positive sentiment cannot be bought—the review will be fair, realistic, and thorough.

6. How the Pitch Process Works

  1. Submit your proposal: Reach out via our Contact Page. Choose "Sponsor" as the subject type. Include your company/product URL, proposed angle, and target timeframe.
  2. Alignment review: Creator personally reviews the pitch within 48–72 hours to ensure it aligns with our audience and ethical guidelines.
  3. Drafting & Editing: Once terms are established, the draft is submitted. Creator makes necessary editorial edits to ensure flow, voice, and quality.
  4. Sign-off & Publication: Both parties sign off on the final text, and the article is published and indexed across our permanent network.
