Who cares if you're right or wrong anymore?
Seriously. At some point, all the arguing, debating, correcting, and proving your point just becomes blah, blah, blah.
Everybody wants to be right. Everybody has an opinion. Everybody has a reason why their way is better, smarter, or more important. And they'll argue until they're blue in the face just to hear themselves say, “I told you so.”
Being Right Doesn’t Make You Important
But here's the thing: being right doesn't automatically make you important.
- You can win the argument and still accomplish absolutely nothing.
- You can prove your point and still make no difference.
- You can spend hours explaining why you're right while the person you're arguing with has already stopped listening.
Sometimes, I just don't care anymore.
"Believe what you want. Think what you want. Tell yourself whatever makes you feel better. I'm not interested in wasting my time trying to convince you that I'm right."
Because at the end of the day, actions matter more than arguments.
So if you want to argue about who's right and who's wrong, have at it.
I'll be over here doing something instead of talking about it.
Because sometimes the smartest response isn't proving you're right.
It's simply saying:
“Whatever. Believe what you want.”
